The last active cattle station in Cape York's Far Northern Tip is Bramwell Station. Also since 2003, the station has offered the services of fuel, cafe and road information at its Bramwell Junction Roadhouse on the Bamaga Road, 100km north of the Peninsula Development Road, and for four-wheel-drivers, the Roadhouse is at the start of the famous Old Telegraph Track, and many a traveller has teamed up with other 4wd visitors to "have a go" at their four-wheel driving skills on the Track.Bramwell Station's pastoral lease was first offered in the early 1930s, and has always been an active part of Cape York's cattle industry, walking bullocks north to the Bamaga district and south to Mareeba and east to fishing communities.

Former owners Frank Monighan, Jack and Rosie Kennedy, Roddy and Theresa Heinemann left a heritage of property names for creeks, yard, and other sites and as well their life's home buildings which have been reclad and updated by the station's owners of the past 10 years, Wendy Kozicka and Vince Bowyer, both formerly of central and lower Cape York districts.

As well the station is home base to their earthmoving business which has helped the survival of this remote area property enabling it to upgrade its facilities and continue its cattle industry, mostly carrying Brahman cross stock, despite the ups and downs of the cattle industry.
